This year it falls on October 20th 2012

Sweetest Day has become an occasion akin to Valentine's Day
a day when people offer a candy or a small gift
as a token of love and admiration.

Love our families, love our sweethearts
but also love our fellow man

As a recipient of what has always been one of my
most memorable days in my life,I was very poor with 4
young children and a husband out of work. One day
the doorbell rang and on answering there was a food box
with all our food and household goods for exactly the
number of days needed until our food check arrived.
We have never found out who this came from
BUT we have had so much joy when chances to do
the same have arisen.
